NOTICE OF EXAMINATION FOR ORIGINAL APPONTMENT TO THE CITY OF CANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT
Examination for eligibility for original appointment to the City of Canton Fire Department is set to begin.
Application forms will be available beginning Friday, February 5, 2010 from the Secretary of the Fire and Police Commission, second floor, 2 North Main Street, Canton, Illinois. Applications can also be downloaded from the City of Canton website at www.cantonillinois.org. Call (309) 647-0065 with questions.
Applications must be returned to the Secretary to the Fire and Police Commission, 2 North Main Street, Canton, Illinois, 61520, no later than Friday, March 5, 2010 at 4:30p.m. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Examinations will start with Orientation at Canton High School at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Immediately thereafter, the physical ability test will be given. Dates and locations for the written examination and oral examination will be announced at a later date.
