Registration is now open for the 2021 AFFI Pension Seminar. This year’s seminar will be held October 25th and October 26th at the DoubleTree by Hilton located at 3003 Corporate West Drive in Lisle, IL 60532.
This two day seminar will highlight current legislation before the 102nd Illinois General Assembly along with key issues affecting pension trustees and plan participants.
Who Will Benefit:
This seminar is designed for AFFI Local leadership and pension fund trustees. Local officers will gather vital information necessary to help guide their membership. Trustees are able to fulfill their annual requirement by earning all 8 hours of continuing education.
Registration fee includes:
Coffee at registration and a break on Monday afternoon. A reception on Monday evening. Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday. A certificate of completion for the 8 hours of trustee continuing education. The latest AFFI Article 4 reference booklet. Pen and paper.
We are utilizing an electronic format for the seminar course materials. The confirmation email will contain the link. Content will be continuously added as speakers provide it.
Attendees may submit questions and our ‘ask an administrator’ panel will answer them! We will also discuss current pension cases, social security, pension transition, converting disability to pension and the entire LODD process.

When to Arrive:
Registered attendees will sign in between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25th. Virtual attendees will receive a link.
